Java Engineer

Lingoport is seeking a Java Engineer to join our team on a large code-base internationalization project for an enterprise teleconferencing system.

Job Location: Boulder, Colorado. There is a rather restrictive build process for this application which will demand that almost all work will have to be performed in our offices. Please do not apply if you want to work remotely.

 This is a contract position only. There are often follow-up projects. 

Project information is as follows:
- Targeted Start: As soon as possible
- Completion: November or beyond (client likes us and keeps adding scope)
- Java Engineering requirements: 5 or more years of experience within Java technologies.
- Ability to follow design documentation
- You should be a quick learner and comfortable working with a team on complex systems 

Special consideration if you have internationalization experience, but it is more important that you have good skills, you are easy to work with, have a strong work ethic and can perform well under a deadline.

We are a close-knit team. Everyone performs a variety of duties and enjoys working with one another. 

Note on rates: This work was highly competitive with off shore resources and we are looking to do the right thing and foster jobs in our community, but it has to make business sense.

Architect/Senior Engineer

Lingoport is seeking an architect who likes getting his or her hands into all kinds of complex software and delivering on-time and on budget.

Job Location: Boulder, Colorado

The right candidate will have at least 5 years of broad technical expertise:

  • Java
  • C#, .Net
  • VB6
  • C++
  • SQL and familiarity with leading databases
  • Web knowledge (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML)
  • Special consideration if you have internationalization (i18n) experience

Candidate must be capable of performing design, planning and documentation duties, as well as technical leadership of internationalization developer teams. Hard work and the mindset to take ownership of a project, combined with good communication skills with clients and team members, will be a requirement for success. We’ll be asking for references and experience that demonstrates your work ethic.

Work includes leadership of professional services projects as well as participation in the development of our Globalyzer software.
